Just because you’re on a diet, doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice all the foods you love! By making a few smart substitutions, you can completely transform your eating habits for healthy weight loss:

Pretzels for chips

Enjoy a bowl of pretzels instead of high-fat potato chips or corn chips. They contain far less sodium and grease.

Angel food cake for devil’s food cake

Did you know that one slice of food cake has over 200 calories? Try angel food cake as a low-carb, and often gluten-free substitute, which contains under 100 calories.

Sweet potato for french fries

French fries are typically coated in grease and tons of salt. In fact, a serving since of about 84g (11 french fries) contains 130 calories. Sweet potatoes are far more sweeter (naturally), are a better source of fiber, and contain less calories.

Margarine for cream cheese

When baking, swap out cream cheese or soft margarine, which is low in saturated fat and contains 0 grams of trans fat - your cake will be just as mouthwatering!

Sherbet for ice cream

Now that we’re leaping into Spring, why not switch up that ice cream cone for a refreshing bowl of sherbet? Sherbert or any other low-fat yogurt has less fat and has less milk fat as well as sugar.

Find it challenging to stick to that New Year’s diet you promised yourself? Don’t let it defeat you! With a few tips, you can learn how easy it is to fall into a healthy eating plan:

Cook often. The first step to sticking to your New Year’s diet is to prepare home cooked meals. When it comes down to feeding your body with the nutrients it needs, nothing is of higher quality than ingredients from your very own kitchen. Not only does it provide you will a balanced meal, but it also means you’ll decrease your intake of salt and trans fats, which is key to slimming down and staying healthy.

Eat breakfast. “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.” It’s not just a myth! When you eat a hearty breakfast, packed with healthy carbs and proteins, you’ll experience less cravings and receive the nutrition you need to jump start your day.

Indulge seldomly. A little dark chocolate or a bite of ice cream once in awhile won’t ruin your diet. In fact, it can help you stay on track. This is because when you deprive yourself of the sweet snacks you’re craving, you can end up falling back into bad habits. So don’t be afraid of a little indulgence.

Learn portion control. The trick to sticking to your diet is to learn portion control. This means resisting temptations to binge and knowing when your body says it’s full. And when it comes to snacking, choose 100-calorie packs instead of large bags.

Sometimes following a healthy diet doesn’t get us the results we want as quickly as we may hope. That’s where Cavi-Lipo comes in. This nonsurgical procedure is ideal for those looking to jump start their slimming efforts as motivation for maintaining a healthier lifestyle for 2016.

Either your pants shrank or your belly grew - whichever the reason, wearing loose shirts to cover up doesn’t need to be the answer. Good news is your belly is actually one of the easiest places to lose weight - the best way to do so? Eat!

Make sure the below foods are included in your diet to help you lose the bloat, naturally.

Berries, Cherries & Grapes
All of these foods share common plant chemicals called anthocyanins which burns abdominal fat. These treats are also full of antioxidants and fiber! Try topping your nonfat Greek yogurt with some mixed berries as well as nuts, cinnamon, honey, and a bit of vanilla extract for a delicious and healthy breakfast.

Dairy
Whey is a protein that supports the formation of lean body mass and can be found in foods like milk, yogurt, and cheese. Dairy also helps fill you up which will help increase overall weight loss. Try eating some cottage cheese, string cheese, or Greek yogurt. Swap sour cream in dips with Greek Yogurt as a healthier alternative.

Potassium
Instead of eating salty foods which will make you bloated, try eating more foods that are rich in potassium! While sodium brings water out of the cells, potassium brings it into the cells where it belongs. A few foods you can try are bananas, avocados, orange juice, and baked potatoes with the skin still on them.

Lean Protein
These foods take longer to digest than carbohydrates which means you will feel full for a longer amount of time. These proteins also help build muscle. Some foods to try out are skinless chicken breasts, turkey cutlets, egg whites, fish, and pork tenderloin.

Whole Grains
Whole grains contain magnesium and chromium which are both important nutrients to fight cortisol, which is a stress hormone that directs fat to be stored around your waist. They also keep down your insulin production. Try whole grain toast with one fried egg, a slice of smoked turkey, and chopped asparagus as an awesome healthy meal.

Make the effort to add these foods to your diet as well as your post cavi-lipo treatment efforts. Remember, cavi-lipo shouldn’t be a substitute for healthy living habits. By maintaining a healthy diet and exercise you can expect long-term results. Interested in what cavi-lipo can do for you?
